Srimad Bhagbad Gita Chapter -8
In this chapter, Shree Krishna briefly narrates important concepts and terms that the Upanishads manifest in detail. Sri Krishna (supreme energy )also says what fixes the destination of the soul, body and mind after death. If we recall the supreme entity at the time of death, we can definitely be with Him (supreme energy). Therefore, alongside doing our daily works, we must always practice meditating the God. We can do this by knowing of His Qualities, Attributes, Virtues, etc. as well as closely keep a watch on His standpoint. Through exclusive devotion or work or knowledge or even practice, when our mind is perfectly diluted in that supreme entity, we surely can uplift ourselves from the lower phase to upper phase of life.

Overview
What is Adhyatma? What is devotion? what is Bramha? What is 'Akshar'? Who is Ishwar? What is the difference among the mind, intelligence, and conciousness? All the questions were asked by Arjuna. First part of this chapter is described by Sri Krishna.
In the second part Krishna describes if you remember my name at the time of death then you will get me. There will be no rebirth "Punarjanma" after taking my name. If anyone does not get liberation and don't know about the supreme energy then he must come into this world again and again.
